Birth Affirmations:
Believe in Birth, Believe in Yourself
The way we think and feel shapes our actions, fears, weakness, and strengths. When preparing for labor and birth it's important we focus good energy toward the birth we want and deserve. Writing down and repeating affirmations can make a drastic difference on how we feel about labor and birth and how our body responds to it. Feeling relaxed, safe, willing, and able to give birth will help in achieving your birth goals. Here are some affirmations that I have used. These can be printed up and cut into little cards for future reference, pasted into a pregnancy journal, or hung on a mirror where you'll read them everyday. I encourage you to write your own as well, write ones that are fitting for your needs and wants. Express your fears and confront them with positive messages that will train your mind and body to relax and be at peace with the amazing experience of birth.
